Repair at Norder Yard Hamburg

The "Caroline Russ"" left the Steubenhöft in Cuxhaven on Dec 17
around midnight and headed for the Norderyard in Hamburg
for repairs of collision damage. The ship docked at 4.30 a.m.
The Netherlands-Antillen-flagged cargo vessel "Merweborg",
(IMO: 9142552), still remained in Cuxhaven.

On Dec 12, 2013, the "Merweborg" allided with the Antigua-flagged
roro m/v "Caroline Russ" while trying to dock at the Steubenhöft
in Cuxhaven in order to take a technician on board while being
enroute Carteya Guadarranque-Sundsvall. Both ships suffered
considerable hull damage, the "Caroline Russ", which had berthed
in Cuxhaven short past midnight while enroute to Amsterdam,
suffered breaches above the water line on the port side foreship.
Also the quay was damaged by the bow of the "Merweborg",
concrete broke out. Both ships were still in port on Dec 14
