Grounding off Kolding
On Mar 15, 2016, around 8 p.m. the "Hekla" ran aground at Drejens Odde in the Kolding Fjord on the way into the port of Kolding
She had sailed from IJmuiden on Mar 13. The cause of the grounding was unknown
The ship seemed to have suffered a leak and remained aground until a salvage plan has been approved
The Danish SAR boat "Hercules - MHV 812" was on site in the morning of Mar 16
