Grounded ship refloated
On Mar 23 at 10.50 a.m. the Norwegian patrol boat “Tor”
(IMO-No.: 9353369) jointly with the tug "Silex" (IMO-No.: 9085194) managed to refloat the "Selvaagsund" north of Fedje in Ytre Sula
The lifeboat "K.G. Jpesen" had already departed the previous evening, while the Coast Guard remained on site until it was all settled
The shipping company had hired a diving boat as the vessel had to be sealed before it could be pulled off
The salvage went smoothly and that the ship was now heading to Florø where divers were to inspect the full extent of damage | Vesseltracker.com
